接受与拒绝Offer
透过以上的薪水谈判，两边给的Offer不会差太多，如果差很多，就很清楚该选哪边了。虽然薪水不是选工作的唯一因素，但也可以看出公司对你的重视程度。
除了薪水外，还要考虑工作的环境、成长空间、公司福利、在职训练，最重要的是家人的支持。感谢老婆的支持，愿意放弃舒适的居住环境，搬到陌生的城市重新开始。
决定接受Offer后，就可以回信给主管，并开始洽谈到职的时间。
接受Offer范本:
Hi, [Manager Name]
Yes, I accept the position!
Thank you for the offer. It is my honor to be a member of your team.
I will work hard and try my best to learn and get familiar with our business soon.

其他的Offer也要礼貌地回信拒绝，因为在同个领域总会有再见面的一天。

如何离职
找到新工作固然开心，但也要潇洒地离职，以下是几点离职的注意事项。
- 提早告知主管离职时间
每间公司规定不一样，但一般是提前2周提出离职申请，在这段时间将工作交接给其他人。我用Email的方式递辞呈，在信中注明离职的时间，以下是我使用的范本。
Dear [Manager Name],
Please accept this letter as notice of my resignation from my position as the [job title]. My last day of employment will be [the Last Day].
I received an offer to serve as [new job title] of another university, and after careful consideration, I realize that this opportunity is too exciting for me to decline.
It has been a pleasure working with you and your team over the last three years. I believe that the team will be getting better with your lead.
I would like to help with the transition of my duties so that systems continue to function smoothly after my departure. I am available to help recruit and train my replacement, and I will make certain that all reporting and scripts are updated before my last day of work. [Manager Name], thank you again for the opportunity to work for UMSL. I wish you and your team all the best and I look forward to staying in touch with you. You can email me anytime at [Email Address] or call me at [Cell Number].

确定离职的时间后，就可以跟新工作主管确认到职的时间。我在周五离职，隔周一就开始上班，虽然这样不会用到假期，但却身心俱疲。建议给自己最少一周的时间调整，可以安排假期或是熟悉新环境，充分休息后再重新出发。
- 剩余假期兑现
公司一般有3种假期，休假(Vacation)、病假(Sick)、个人假(Personal Day)，只有休假(Vacation)的累积离职后能兑换成现金。所以平常可以先使用个人假、病假，休假等到接近上限再使用，这样离职后至少可以再多拿一个半月的薪水。
- 退休金Roll over
很多公司帮员工存的退休金，要工作几年后才会归属(Vested)于员工。例如我们公司规定要工作满三年，离职后才能拿到退休金，如果还没满三年就离职，只能拿到自己存的部分，公司存的(Match)部分就拿不到。
离职后有几个方式处理退休金:
- 直接领出: 如果你急需现金，可以直接领出来，但如果还没到退休年龄，须缴交不少税金与罚款。
- 放著不动: 如果觉得原本的理财公司不错，也可以放著不动，但前公司不会再存钱进去。
- Rollover: 如果你不希望失去退休金的税利且继续存钱进去，可以将退休帐户滚存 (Roll over) 到个人的IRA帐户或是新公司的退休帐户。这样不但能避免罚款，还能继续享受缓征所得税的利益。
- 与同事道别
在职场上，Networking非常重要，我的推荐信就是来自于以前的同事，帮助非常大，所以离职前跟同事互相留下联络方式或是加入LinkedIn。
我用个人的Email信箱告知同事离职的消息，以下是我使用的范本。
Dear [同事名字],
You may already have heard the news, but I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I am leaving my position here at UMSL.
I have enjoyed my tenure here and I appreciate having had the opportunity to work with you. I have loved working on [一起共事的项目] projects with you, and enjoying lunch with you on Friday. Thank you for the support, guidance, and encouragement you have provided me during my time at UMSL.
I would appreciate any continued advice you could provide as I start the next phase of my career. Please keep in touch. I can be reached at my personal email address (xxx@xxx.xxx) or via my cell phone – xxx-xxx-xxxx.

- 与主管面谈
我在离开前跟主管预约了一个面谈，分享在这工作几年的回馈，也希望主管能给我个人一些建议。是我在这工作以来，收获最多的一个面谈。
因为即将要分道扬镳，也不用太遮掩，说的都是真心话，但也不是抱怨。这面谈的目标是，双方都能真心地分享，帮助彼此在职场上更进步。
首先我先分享在这工作遇到的困难，如果是人的问题，我会指出事件，而不是人身攻击，并提供解决的办法。
接着请主管指出我的优缺点，并专注在缺点上。这是重点，把缺点记下来，想办法改进，并且不带到新的工作上。
最后请教主管，他能成功的因素是什么? 如果时间能倒回到年轻时，会想做些什么? 我们分享彼此的愿景与计画，并给予祝福后珍重道别。
