[Dr. Kao 专栏] UC 系列入学申请自传重大改革!
UC不久前刚公布，今年开始入学申请自传将有大改革！从规定的两篇加起来一千字，改成八个题目挑四个，每题最多350字。这是自2008年以来最大的改版，也是UC第一次使用多题选择，简短字数的模式。这对学生的挑战又更大了，光是挑题目可能就伤透脑筋。以下为八个题目的中文翻译:
- 举出跟形容一个你如何身为领导正面地影响他人、排解纠纷、或是长时间为团体贡献的 例子。Describe an example of your leadership experience in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes, or contributed to group efforts over time.
- 每个人都有充满创意的一面，而这可以由各种不同的方法呈现: 解决问题、原创思考、艺术表达等等。请形容你创意的一面。Every person has a creative side, and it can be expressed in many ways: problem solving, original and innovative thinking, and artistically, to name a few. Describe how you express your creative side.
- 你最强的才艺是什么?长久以来，你如何发展及表现你这项才能? What would you say is your greatest talent or skill? How have you developed and demonstrated that talent over time?
