鲸鱼般的新馆外观，由San Francisco的EHDD 事务所设计，他们也是The Aquarium of the Pacific太平洋水族馆的原设计团队。 预计这个工程将砸五千三百万美元扩建，包含全新的入口广场、两倍大的展览空间，以及画廊。
