THE POSITION
Under general supervision of an administrator, performs a variety of instructional and routine clerical duties designed to free the instructor from routine work related to the programs; converses with students in a specified language other than English and translates into English for instructional personnel.
CURRENT OPENING: Twenty-two (22) 10 month/30 hours per week positions, two 10 month/25 hours per week positions, one 10 month/15 hours per week position, and one 10 month/10 hours per week position. The current opening requires the ability to be bilingual and biliterate in SPANISH OR MANDARIN. However, the same list may be used to fill additional or future vacancies for one year. Salary placement will be on Range 14 of the CSEA Salary Schedule “B.” Initial salary placement for new employees is customarily at step 1 ($18.02 per hour) of this salary range.
