Media Sales Specialist

Description

Our Media Sales Specialist will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with media agencies and advertisers, as well as focusing on programmatic buyers and trading desks. Candidate must have an understanding of the digit advertising landscape and basic knowledge of programmatic buying and video adtech.

Responsibilities
• Create and grow partnerships with advertisers, agencies, & trading desks to drive revenue/sales through direct and programmatic solutions.
• Stellar account management skills with the ability to proactively engage new clients through email and phone.
• Work directly with sales and demand teams to understand client objectives and media strategies.
• Stay on top of industry trends including rates, ad products, and success metrics.
• Oversee the reporting and analytics on a portfolio of demand accounts across platforms.
• Participate on sales calls to help streamline the sales approach and ensure the available tools and platforms are being discussed and utilized.

Requirements
• Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a sales or Account Manager within mobile and online media
• Familiarity with DSP space, ad serving, data exchanges or cross-device performance advertising is preferred.
• Specialty/expertise in mobile ad sales (web/in-app) as well as agency contacts/book of business preferred.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• High level of integrity, excellent presentation, organizational and communication skills
• A knack for asking great questions to uncover issues and opportunities with a prospect’s advertising budget.
• Good understanding of Chinese is a preferable.
• Proficient using Google business suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• BA in Marketing, Communications, Media, Advertising, or other related fields strongly preferred.
