We currently have an opening for the following position:

Job Title: Import Specialist

Working Hour: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Summary:

The Import Specialist will be responsible for the daily management of Import service activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage trucking schedule from port to the warehouse and return to port
• Inform all Gibson operations of incoming shipment, including Gibson- Canada logistics partner
• Booking of outbound ocean shipments as needed through forwarders
• Oversees and coordinates shipments paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with tariffs and customs regulations.
• Serves as a liaison between agents, brokers, shippers, and warehouse facilities.
• Provide support to the import team members as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management, International Trade, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in import and/or logistics operations
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and policies
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
