驚~罕見的紫色海螺被沖上聖地牙哥海灘🐌
最近在聖地牙哥的沙灘上，遊客們可能會注意到一些閃閃發亮、彷彿寶石般的紫色小貝殼。
加州大學聖地牙哥分校的史克里普斯海洋研究所科學家(Scientists at the University of California, San Diego’s Scripps Institution of Oceanography )指出，這些是名為 Janthina（洋紫螺） 的罕見海螺品種。牠們以鮮豔的紫羅蘭色貝殼聞名，並能藉由一種天然的「氣泡筏」漂浮在海面上。
這些海螺因其貝殼呈現寶石般的紫色光澤而引人注目，彷彿散落在沙灘上的天然飾品。牠們原本棲息於亞熱帶至熱帶的開放海域，能夠藉由自然產生的「氣泡筏」漂浮在海面上。由於近期海水異常溫暖，洋紫螺被洋流帶向南加州沿岸，才會在像拉荷雅（La Jolla Shores）這樣的地區被發現。

此外，洋紫螺也以「葡萄牙戰艦水母」（Portuguese man o’ war）為食。這兩種生物都擁有類似帆船的構造，因此能隨風漂浮於海面上。
