南加州警方揭发了一起诈骗案，数千张礼品卡被从该地区的商店盗取。
该部门在与保安团队及当地执法机构合作时发现，仅在一个月内，圣伯纳迪诺(San Bernardino)、洛杉矶( Los Angeles) 、圣地牙哥(San Diego)和橙县(Orange counties)的250多家百货商店发生了盗窃事件。
在执行搜索令时，警方查获了约9,500张被盗的礼品卡。从分享的照片显示，这些被盗的礼品卡堆叠在一起，来自目标商店（Target）、诺德斯特龙（Nordstrom）、家得宝（The Home Depot）、Lululemon和eBay等商家。
