由於 Kobe 生前居住在 New Port Beach，Orange 縣監事會也於今年8月11日投票決定將8月24日定為為Kobe Bryant Day。提出該議案的監事會主席 Michelle Steel 稱 Bryant 是我們身邊備受珍重的成員，他鼓舞了許多人追求夢想，永不放棄。
