If you like Korean Food but is tired of the same Tofu Pot or just plain KBBQ, you can try this special Korean Hot Pot place that Wacow Team went for on this valentine’s day. Starting with appetizer dish, they have two of very unique kind, one is Thin Sliced of Raw Sweet Potatoes, another is Simmer Black Bean Fish, both are not really available else where as appetizers, and its really good. We order the Beef Rib Hot Pot, the Sauteed Seafood Combination, the Seafood Pancake, and of course the Crab Hot Pot. When the waitress first presents the beef rib hot pot, we were already impressed, and thought we are going to enjoy the ribs with the bones, but the waitress took out a scissor and start to cut all the meat right off the bone, and suddenly the Beef Hot Pot looks amazing. When we all took the first bite, wow, the beef is very tender and the stew juice is just so good with the right amount of spicy.
Next was the big plate of the Sauteed Seafood Combination, we can tell this place doesn’t use cheap stuff, and is not stingy in giving out portions, there was crab, shrimp, squids, octopus, and clams…the interesting thing is they use bean sprout to sauteed with the seafood. To our expectation its just as good as it looks, kind of like a korean version of boiling crab. Following up was a huge hot metal plate, on top of it, is the Seafood Pancake. I was thinking..oh man..what a downer, the pancake is so thick..could it be good? After I took the first bite, all the doubts were gone, its CRUNCHY!..and full of seafoods!~
Lastly of course, the Crab Hot Pot, they use four crabs for our hot pot, the smell and flavor of the spice is well mixed, but I guess we didn’t get the fat ones, we didn’t get to taste much of crab meat at all.
Oh of course this special dish .. after we finish the beef hot pot, the waitress rushed over and carry some bowls of rice with her. She took the beef hot pot and whats leftover inside (soup/and bits of beef/veggies) and start to stir fried the rice in the pot…all the juicy flavor from the soup went into the rice, and it taste so much better than just any fried rice out there.
One thing I must mention is that..the service here is extremely good. And Price is very fair to what items you were ordering, because they give you good portions.
