美國國家廣播公司（ NBC ）聯播分台報導，持槍犯嫌今天下午在馬里蘭州西部一家工廠內開火，多人中彈。
根據哥倫比亞廣播公司（ CBS ）地方新聞台，馬里蘭州州長霍根（ Larry Hogan ）在新聞簡報會上說，可能有3人死亡，犯嫌與一名州警交火，導致員警肩部受傷。
