阿市警察提醒居民要小心！

        

                

        洛杉磯居家避疫指令期間，多市放寬路邊停車限制，很多城鎮不會拖車或開罰單，也有很多民衆把車 Parking 放在路邊一停就是幾個星期。上周開始越來越多的居民返工，卻發現車子零部片被盜。

        今天 Alhambra 警察在 Instagram 上發送圖文，呼籲大家多去檢查一下自己的車子。他們說：只需一把鋸和短短幾分鍾，就可輕鬆盜取車子底部的催化轉化器。

It only takes a saw and a few minutes to remove a catalytic converter. Here are a few safety tips you can follow to try a minimize a theft of a catalytic converter. • Park in well-lit areas. • Park close to building entrances or the nearest road in public parking lots (makes your car more visible to more eyes). • If you have a personal garage, parked your car inside and lock the doors. • Install a catalytic converter-specific security device, or have it welded to the car frame. • Engrave your license plate number on your catalytic converter to make it traceable. • Always lock your vehicle and set your car alarm or anti-theft device. • Adjust the security system on your car, if already installed, to activate from vibrations, such as those produced by a saw. • Contact the police if you see or hear anyone or anything suspicious in your area.
