寵Pets: 一條重拾希望的可憐小生命-Patrick
A dog that was found near death in New Jersey has been nursed back to life. The dog had barely any skin over its bones when someone tossed it down a trash chute in Newark. The lucky guy they are calling “Patrick the miracle dog” has recovered and needs a home.
Officials say someone nearly starved the one-year-old pit bull mix to death, and then tossed his body in a trash bag and down a garbage chute at the Garden Spires Apartments on 1st Street in Newark. He was barely alive and hardly moving, but something on him twitched and the maintenance man saw that. He opened the bag, found Patrick and called animal rescue.
The staff at Garden State Veterinary Specialists nursed Patrick back to health.
Kids at the Boys and Girls Club in Asbury Park heard Patrick’s story and sent dozens of get well and get fat cards. Someone created a Facebook page for him, and small donations are pouring in to help pay for his recovery, which will be a long road.
You can learn more about Patrick and how to help on the Garden State Veterinary Specialists website at www.gsvs.org.
